Description
This blank book is the perfect luxury gift for the artist/writer/dreamer in your life — or yourself! Made with archival-quality materials, it’s both elegant and sturdy. Rich black Japanese bookcloth covers the spine, while the front and back covers sport red handmade paper with hand-drawn gold lines. The inside reveals red, orange, gold, and black hand-marbled endpapers and pages whose creamy color and just-right eggshell texture are sure to make a paper fiend gasp. A ribbon is all set to mark your spot.
Tech specs:
This 5.25″ x 8.5″ journal’s blank pages are roughly 5 x 8″ and heavy enough to write on in ink without bleeding through, but thin enough to put lined paper behind the sheet you’re writing on and see them so you can have lines when you want.
This hardcover journal was hand-bound by me in my home workshop, using acid-free Mohawk Superfine 70# text paper, quality bookboard and other materials, and a mix of PVA and methyl cellulose adhesives. It will last a lifetime if treated with a modicum of care. It has 80 leaves, which is 160 pages if you number each side of each leaf. My home is smoke-free.

I had a great time binding it, I hope you’ll have a great time filling it with your thoughts, dreams, and plans!
You will receive the book pictured. Please note that while I do my best, differences in monitors may mean that colors look a bit different from those in real life.
